Daniela Koehler, a soprano from the Karlsruhe region, primarily performs music by German composers. She is especially known for her distinguished youthful vibrancy and her powerful stage presence.

She recently debuted in the role of Senta in Richard Wagner’s „Flying Dutchman“ at the National Theatre in Mannheim. Bevor that, sie featured as Brunhilde in Richard Wagner ́s “Siegfried” at the Leipzig opera, a part she is taking up again at the Bayreuth Festival in 2022. Prior to that, she was cast as the Sieglinde in “The Walkure” in Leipzig. Her vocal progression is continuing. The State Theater in Mainz staged a performance of “Wagner ́s ring in one evening”, featuring Daniela in all of the Brunhilde roles. In addition, audiences have been enthusiastic about her performances of Strauss ́ music. She performed as “Salome“ at the State Theatre in Mainz.

Daniela also has a passion for Italian music. In a production of the Gran Teatre del Liceu Barcelona she sang the leading role of “Norma” in the opera by the same name. She also loves the music by Puccini and Verdi and has been greatly applauded for her performance in the Verdi Requiem. In spite of her considerable acting skills, the international artist also thoroughly enjoys performing in concerts. Among many others, she has performed Beethoven ́s 9 th symphony in Barcelona.
